Happy New Year to our Jewish Small Pawsers!!

Well, the temperatures have cooled down here in Oklahoma as we head into yet another autumn.

This will be the 14th Autumn of Small Paws Rescue.

Some of you have been with us since the beginning!

We want to invite all Bichon lovers to our 2012 Okie Bichon Bash to be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 26-27, in just a little over 5 weeks.

This is the invitation and of course you are welcome to share it!

2012 Okie Bash Invitation

We would love to see you and your Bichons or honorary Bichons!

It's a wonderful lodge with cabins where we stay, and you and your dogs are welcome!

This is a little taste of what it's like to come to one of the Oklahoma Bichon Bashes!

2011 Oklahoma Bichon Bash Pictures and Videos

It's that time of year again when I come to you and ask for pictures that I may share on slide presentations at the Bash.

These are three slide presentations that we showed last year in 2011.

Click here to play the video named "Let's Get Physical!"
(You will see a page that says "Navigation to the page was cancelled", but just wait. The movie will pop up!)

Click here to see the video called "Pretty Amazing Grace" for high speed.

Click here to see the video presentation of the 2011 Small Paws Dog of the Year!

So that was last year and I'm praying for inspiration for this year. Ha!

We need pictures to be e-mailed to us of Bichons! Pictures of Bichons with their owners! Pictures of Bichons experiencing love and joy!

The pictures can be funny or sentimental, anything that evokes emotion.

The Bichons in the pictures don't have to have been rescued Bichons or adopted from Small Paws.

Speaking of Small Paws, I'll be getting out a newsletter soon telling about some of our needs.

We have a little guy here in Tulsa, who we named Michael Phelps, as he came in during the Olympics. We call him "Mikey".

Mickey has a juvenile cataract in one eye that must be removed.

I'll tell you about him soon, as well as other surgeries that we have coming up.

Thank you in advance for sending me your pictures! Please send them to pup3@aol.com.

All My Love, Robin

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006

When I first saw this beautiful picture of Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey", I thought it was truly the epitome of what we do, and why we do it. I wanted to use this black and white picture of Humphrey, taken only days before his death due to congestive heart failure, to let those who may be new to Small Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known love. He would have died in a kill shelter, sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
