Gem of the Day: "The life I touch for
good or ill will touch another life,
and that in turn
another, until who
knows
where the trembling
stops
or in what far place
my touch will be
felt.”
~Frederick Buechner~

Snoopy was an owner surrender who has ORAL-NASAL FISTULAS.
There is one pictured
here. These are holes in the roof of his mouth
which cause breathing issues and bleeding
from his nose.
We've been trying to raise funds for little
Snoopy in MA., and so far we have raised
only $155.00 of the $1600.00-1900.00 that
is needed.
We do have three matching donation challenges,
one of which comes from Snoopy's Foster Dad.
Is there anyone who can match his $100.00
matching challenge for little Snoopy?

I'd like to issue a matching challenge of
$100 for little Snoopy.
I'm doing it in honor of Natalie's memory
and in honor of Lori's heart that must be
breaking having to go through all this.
And of course for little Snoopy.
Snoopy sneezed in
agreement.
Louie.>
And we have this
challenge for $25.00.
Thank
you Kat, again!

Last time I had you toss out a $25 challenge,
it turned into $ 50 for you all. So lets
try that again. I don't know how long I can
continue to these donations, but I will as
long as possible. So, go for it.

And we have this
last challenge from
Mary
Jones. Thank you
Mary!

Subject: A Challenge
for Snoopy
I have adopted 3
fluffs from Small
Paws,
one of which now
at only 6 yrs old
is down
to just 5 teeth due
a terrible diet in
the
puppy mill where
she came from. I
think she
had about 16 teeth
when she was adopted
and
I even found a couple
of them lying in
her
bed one day. The
remainder of her
teeth were
so bad, they all
had to be surgically
removed
as well. But this
little girl loves
to eat
and does just fine
with those 5 teeth
that
are left, just as
long as I put some
warm
water on her kibble
to soften it. On
behalf
of Healy and my other
fluff babies I would
like to issue a $25.00
challenge for others
to help Snoopy get
better! Thanks, Mary

August is the worst
time of the year
for
all not-for-profits.
I don't know if it
has to do with people
being on vacation
before school starts, or
what.
Hello August.
Snoopy doesn't know that and he has a hole
in the roof of his mouth that causes his
nose to bleed.
He needs this surgery
TOMORROW and they are
giving us a 50% rescue
discount as it is.
Is anyone here? Hello?
We never want to
run anyone short.
If you can't help,
we understand and are
praying for you,
too!
If you can help and
are home, we are so grateful!
All My Love, Robin

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
