Gem Of The Day: "Try to remember the
kind of September
When life was slow
and oh, so mellow.
Try to remember the
kind of September
When grass was green
and grain was yellow.
Try to remember the
kind of September
When you were a tender
and callow fellow.
Try to remember,
and if you remember,
Then follow.
Follow, follow, follow,
follow, follow,
Follow, follow, follow,
follow."

Robin
I'd like to offer a $50.00 matching challenge
to all the male Small Paws members out there
on behalf of Bijoux. I challenge all male
Small Pawsers because the thought of her
"tail" being cut off brought some
scary thoughts that only a guy can relate
to, if you know what I mean.
SO I challenge all the men out there to a
$50.00 match for poor Bijoux.
Thank you,
Louie >
And from Southern
California, from
our friend
Sue Hodges, we have
this challenge for
$100.00.
Thank you, again,
Sue.

Robin, I'm so upset I can't even pontificate,
what is going on in Chicago?? From last week
to this week it is just beyond comprehension
and yes I realize this is happening all over.
Please issue another $100.00 challenge even
though no one matched
my last one, and many
hugs to Sara and
her team, unbelievable.
Best, Deborah and
Boris, PS, I'm sorry many
hugs to all the volunteers
I talk about the
"Depths of Despair"

And from New York,
this is a challenge
for
$50.00 for the Mama
and seven babies
we took
in on Saturday. Thank
you Anne. So much.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
