Welcome! We hope you enjoy reading about
the Bichons and the people who love them!
If you missed our last newsletter, here it
is.
This is so hard to send out after the news
about losing Bayn.
But I know he would want us to send this
out. I know he would.
Normally, I wouldn't even be writing to you
all until after New Year's, but one of our
members wants to issue a matching donation
challenge that is unbelievably generous.
I thought that maybe some of you may be faced
with either paying it in taxes to the government
or, making a tax deductible donation for
charity.
(That would be us.)
The challenge is
coming from Carol Camp and
she has written this
letter to explain.
Is there is anyone
who can match this generous
challenge, it would
mean $10,000.00 for the
Bichons we have in
rescue. Most of us can't
match something this
large. If you can't
match it, please
pray there is someone who
is able.
Thank you Carol, so very much. What a wonderful
gift this is for the Bichons, to follow such
sad news.

Dear Robin:
As you know, I found Small Paws when watching
a segment on Animal Planet and immediately
went to my computer. I had an elderly Bichon
and knew I wanted to continue owning the
breed and knew that Chloe was not long for
this world. At that time, too, I had been
looking for a place to offer my tithe where
I felt deep in my heart that it was truly
a "God thing". That was eight years
ago when I found Small Paws and dedicated
my tithe to the organization. It truly is
where I know that I have planted a seed that
continues to grow and thrive.
I have been so blessed
since then and as
I continued to give,
I continued to receive.
So now, at the end
of the year, I would
like
to issue a challenge
to those out there
who
may wish to donate
a year-end amount
which
will give them a
tax deduction rather
than
just paying that
money to the government.
I, for one, am much
happier giving a
donation
to Small Paws which
knows how to put
my money
to the best of uses.
:)
I would like to issue
a challenge in the
amount of $5,000
to anyone out there
who
knows the benefit
that money can do
in saving
these little dogs
we all adore and
who may
be looking for the
perfect charitable
donation
to make.
God bless and best
wishes for a Merry
Christmas
and a Happy New Year!
Love-
"Christmas Carol"
I don't even know if anyone is online and
at their computer, but we wanted to send
this out, in case one of you is able to match
Carol.
Thank you Carol, more than you can ever know.
And many thanks to all of you out there who
love the Bichons and the people who love
them. All My Love, Robin

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
