Hi, Robin, Will you
give the Small Paws Rescue Online E-Store a big announcement next newsletter, just
asking people to look to see what is there.
I have lots of requests to get things in
for them, then there are no sales. So the
new items inventory is great, beautiful and we need customers!
Rose
P.S. From Robin: Rose called again last evening.
They are going through a valley waiting to
have her husband 's stomach blockage/mass
diagnosed. The doctor said that it could
be cancer. This is their fiftieth anniversary
year, in December. Walt has been very healthy.
He is a runner!
She is asking for
prayer.
She says she STILL
wants some more orders
from the E-Store
as this keeps her busy during
the waiting.
Rose, we love you
and Walt and we are
praying
for you!

Dr. Skip Tangner D.V.M., M.S., did the surgery on little Magnolia, yesterday
afternoon!

"Magnolia" is five years old and
will feel so much better now, thanks to you!
Come to find out, she didn't have a liver
shunt, but she DID have an etopic ureter which is a birth defect and Skip repaired
that.
One of her kidneys
was "completely
shot"
so he removed that.
She is doing fine
and will probably come
home on Friday!
If you are within
driving distance
of OKC
and would be interested
in fostering our
little Magnolia,
let me know! Ginger
Wetz,
one of our volunteers,
helped to transport
her yesterday and
says she is just
as sweet
as can be.

Thank you all for

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey", I thought
it was truly the epitome of what we do, and
why we do it. I wanted to use this black
and white picture of Humphrey, taken only
days before his death due to congestive heart
failure, to let those who may be new to Small
Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known
love. He would have died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
