Gem Of The Day:
"Murderers very often start out by killing
and torturing animals
as kids."
~ Robert K. Ressler, Former FBI Serial Killer
Profiler~

Remmy in Northern California. His vet believes
he was tortured. We don't know with what,
but it put several holes in and through him.
At first they thought he had been shot but
there is no GS residue on his body. And they
aren't bite marks.

Robin,
Please issue this challenge. Many of the
SPR volunteers, like me are of the Jewish
Faith. Last night was the holiday of Succot,
the building of shelters in the wilderness.
The start of a new beginning. This is also
the beginning of our New Year. Let's give
Remmy a new start and help heal his pains.
This is so so very sad.I issue a $100.00
challenge.

That's the news for
now. All My Love,
Robin

Remmy after being shaved. You can see his
wounds. Look at his left shoulder. It is
swollen with what appear to be stab wounds.
The vets say this is not an animal attack,
or a hit by car. They feel it was a case
of torture.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
