Sara Pace, our Team Leader to IL., IN., IA.,

and two owner surrenders in her team just
this week
It will be an average
of $600.00 each to
vet these of them
which is $4800.00 and that
doesn't include surgery
for the one who has
been hit by a car
which will run about $2000.00.
We need about $6800.00
and has raised $1960.00.
And there are others.
Meet a little girl named "Avery"

This is the pup from Ft. Bend that someone
told you about, Robin. There were two and
larger one was adopted. Ray told me it was
a little boy well we have a little girl just
over 9 lbs, 1.5-2 years old, plus very good
nature. Her name is Avery and the pictures
are of the vet shearing her down. As you
can see it is one large mat. Heartworm negative.
She has been bathed and will be spayed believe
5th of June then ready for foster home if
all goes well.
Sindy<

Avery was in terribly need of rescue.

And below are our newest Chicago kidlets. We
are going to have to ask them to stay and
wash dishes if we can't raise funds for their
vetting. One of them has a broken leg.

Meet "Cooper" who was hit by a
car. His tarsal ligament on his lack leg
is ruptured. He is only two years old.
We are probably looking at around $2000.00
to save his leg.
Eight of the newest Bichons were named after
"Dancing With the Stars" contestants,
judges and hosts.

Carrie Ann is a sweetie! A bichon mix. She
is estimated at 3 years old.

Zendaya is 9 months old. She is a bichon-poo.

Chelsie is an adorable bichon, estimated
at 2 years old. She just wanted to be held!
"Len the TEN" is 3-4 years old
and comes with a British accent..

Here is Jacobi. He definitely needs his
jingle bells removed! He is a bichon and
estimated at 4-5 years old.

This is Brooke and she is a sweet heart!
She is around 9-10 years old but her eyes
look great. She needs dental, vaccines, quarantine
and spay. She loves to be held and will be
a great lap dog.

Tommy is around 3-4 years old.
Sara Pace and 2 year Old "Bruno".
We need to raise funds for these nine Bichons.
We are almost $5000.00 short for them.
We couldn't leave
them there. They
were in
danger.
If anyone is still here, help is needed.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! All

Prayer Requests and Reports
From Robin: I learned yesterday that my hair
stylist, AKA "Hair Guy" won't be
cutting my hair anymore. I called to make
an appointment and they told me that right
after my last visit, he was diagnosed with
end stage melanoma and he isn't expected
to be here with us much longer. He was my
hair guy and I just wanted to come and ask
you for prayers for Larry.

Paws Rescue
We had him for the last five years, He is
very obedient normally when we say "stay"
he will stop wherever he is, so some times
we are used to play with him in the yard
for he loves to run around the yard in circles,
during that time we did not put him on the
leash, this particular day he was not on
leash and did not yield to the command when
he saw some dog across the road. It took
off so suddenly the on coming driver did
not have time to stop the car. That is how
it happened.>
 Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey", I thought
it was truly the epitome of what we do, and
why we do it. I wanted to use this black
and white picture of Humphrey, taken only
days before his death due to congestive heart
failure, to let those who may be new to Small
Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known
love. He would have died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
