Gem of the Day: "Animals are such agreeable
friends, they ask
no questions, they pass
no criticisms."
~George Eliot, British
writer~
As you know, "McDreamy" was seen
being hit by a car. He has a fractured pelvis
and needs surgery to repair it. This is painful
for him. He needs $1750.00 for his surgery.
We have raised $500.00 of it so far. They
want to do the surgery tomorrow morning,

Issue a $100 challenge
for McDreamy. I want
him to be everything
that Don Rorschach
promises
he can be, "This
guy will make some
family a super dog.
That is if they like
a dog that wants
lots of human attention
and love." He
just needs a little
help
right now.

And we still have
Sue Hodges' challenge
as
well!

Please say prayers
for my Dad that they
find
out what's going
on with him. He loses
his
balance and has had
a couple of bad falls
so he is having a
bunch of tests done
this
week including one
for the carotid artery
and he is having
trouble swallowing
normal
food.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
