Bayn Carlson With little "Irving".
The bitterest tears shed over graves are
for words
left unsaid and deeds
left undone.
~Harriet Beecher Stowe~
See Bayn's heart warming Youtube video of
one of his last foster Bichons, whom he adopted. Be sure to listen to the song Bayn was singing
on "Cole's Climb"
Dear Small Pawsers,
This is a difficult newsletter to write to
you all, especially around the Holidays.
Bayn Carlson, one
of our long time North
Texas volunteers,
died suddenly at his home
last Wednesday, December
22, 2010.
There will not be a memorial service at per
the families request.
If an online memorial
guest book becomes
available, I will
share it with you.
Bayn did a lot for rescue and he was my friend.
Bayn was 47 years
old.
He is survived by his Mother and Dad, Sandra
and Larry Carlson of MN., and a sister, Sherry,
of Atlanta.
He also left four precious little ones, all
adopted from Small Paws.
We, of course, have them now. Many thanks
to Bayn's pet sitter, Mary Ann, and to Pat,
the Frisco Humane Society Volunteer who kept
them all for us over the Holiday weekend.
They are now being groomed and brought up
to date at our vet's office.
They will be ready for foster homes on Friday.
If you think you could help us by fostering
one of Bayn's four Bichons, please let me
know.
Two of them Honey,
a little puppy mill girl
and Mackey, need
to stay together. They are
bonded. Honey is
very clingy and needs lots
of love, and a quiet
home.

Bayn with Cole
Cole, the youngest one, who is two, will
need medications
for the rest of his life
for his liver, but
he seems to be a normal
two year old from
outward appearances.
Miles, is around
10 and was a foster
puppy
at our house when
he was a baby.
This is another video
that Bayn made for
Youtube about Small
Paws Rescue.
Our prayers are with
his family.
We don't have an
e-mail address for
his family,
but we will send
a sympathy card to
his parent's
home, in MN.
This has been a Christmas
I will never forget
with the loss of
Bayn Carlson. All
My Love,
Robin
Bayn recorded a CD called"Songs to My
Grandmother".
This was the last
song on that CD.
If We Never Meet
Again This Side of
Heaven
Soon we'll come to
the end of life's
journey
And perhaps we'll
never meet anymore
'Til we gather in heaven's bright city
Far away on that
beautiful shore
If we never meet
again this side of
heaven
As we struggle through
this world and its
strife
There's another meeting
place somewhere in
heaven
By the side of river
of life
Where the roses bloom
forever
And where separation
comes no more
If we never meet
again this side of
heaven
I will meet you on
that beautiful shore
O they say we shall
meet by the river
Where no storm clouds
ever darken the sky
And they say we’ll
be happy in heaven
In that wonderful
sweet by and by
If we never meet
again this side of
heaven
As we struggle through
this world and its
strife
There's another meeting
place somewhere in
heaven
By the side of river
of life
Where the roses bloom
forever
And where separation
comes no more
If we never meet
again this side of
heaven
I will meet you on
that beautiful shore.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
