Gem of the Day: "When friends or family
don't understand the depth of pain we feel
when we lose one of our beloved dogs, we
should feel pity for them.
After all, they weren't one of the few who
was chosen, one of the few who was blessed
to experience that very special kind of love.
A love that for which we will always have
immense gratitude."
~ Robin Pressnall~
Bear and Nicholas Pressnall back in 1998.
Nick is the one sitting up on the right. 14 years ago yesterday, a day that would come to change the entire
direction of my life.our precious Nicholas was diagnosed with
Canine Lymphoma.

We have raised under $300.00 so far.
We need to raise $3500.00 to pay for the
vet bills of Robbie, Finnegan, Mia and Smudge. That's where we are so far.

Mia Small Paws was hit by a car and left
in a crate at a kill shelter where she sat
for four days without pain meds. Estimate
for vetting is $500-600.

Robbie Small Paws 2-3 years old rescued from
a high kill shelter. Estimate for vetting
is $500.00. Very sweet boy.

Finnegan and Sara. 1.5 years old. Very tall,
Vet Estimate is for $500.00.

Smudge when we first rescued him from the
shelter.
He could not walk,
his hips were so
bad,
and he was in pain.

Smudge after his first hip surgery. He felt
so much better.
His second FHO surgery was done yesterday.
$1800.00 - 20% rescue discount.
We have the following matching donation challenges
for Sara's Saves,
Robbie, Finnegan, Mia and Smudge, needing vetting in Sara Paces Team in IN
and IL.
Many thanks to those
who have made challenges
and to those who
are able to answer them
in order to help
these little ones!

Matching challenge
of $50.00 per dog and
even if you can only
give $50 please do so.
I can't imagine how
stressful it is to see
these poor dogs under
these awful circumstances
let alone have to
raise money endlessly to
take care of them.
Please help Robin and
Sara folks. We have
the easy part, opening
up our wallets. They
deal with the hard parts,
24 hours a day. Since
I have 3, my total
is $150. Good luck
Robin and let's rally
folks. Thanks, Barbe
Von Netzer>
And from Jim in Iowa
we have this challenge
for $100.00. If someone
can match Jim's challenge
that will put us
$200.00 closer to being
able to pay the vet
bills for Sara's Saves.
Thank you Jim!

Please issue a $100
challenge for Smudge
and company. Continue
pulling miracles
and
hopefully we've got
your back. Decided
that
I would try for a
$100 a month and
right
now I'm on target.
So keep up the good
work
and count on us to
help.
When my challenge
is met, charge my
card.
Thank you for all
that you do.
Thank you.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
