We have two more challenges for little Remmy
out in California, as well as some news!
Good things are happening for Small Paws
and the rescued Bichons!
First, the Chicken Soup Book is coming out
on October 25, with the story of Small Paws.
I'll be sending out a press release (The
Chicken Soup People help with this) to local
Tulsa TV, radio, and newspapers, so that
will be great publicity for Small Paws as
well.
And..drum roll please!

Small Paws® Rescue has just been invited
back for our fourth appearance on The Fox News Network, live in New York City on their morning
show,
"Fox and Friends"! We will be quests on the show a week
from Monday morning, on October 24, 2011.
We will be live, between the 7-8 A.M. (Eastern
Time) segment!
Many thanks to Fox
News!
Fox News supplies air travel, limousine service,
and hotel accommodations for Bonnie Ferguson,
our Director of Adoptions, and I, to come
to NYC. Thanks to local volunteers, National
Team Leader, Joanne Raus, and SPR Foster
parents, Nancy Murray, and Joe Ceniccola,
We will have FOUR Bichons that are available
for adoption as well as Manhattan resident,
Boris Berger, whom they all seem to love
there!
Also many thanks to Sara Pace and to Tom
and Kathy MacPherson for helping to get these
foster Bichons flown to NYC for the airing,
and for subsequent fostering in the North
East.
Thank you all for
helping this to come
together!
Next, we have two last matching challenges
for little Remmy.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
