Robin, I am giving a donation in memory of
my mother and Howard's mother in honor of
Mother's Day. I challenge others whose Mom's
are no longer with them to do the same. If
your Mom is still with you, you might honor
her with a donation in her name. Our Mom's
both loved animals and I know they'd be pleased
to help our furbabies in need.

Tia, my puppy mill baby, discovered toys
last week, and is enjoying playing tug-of-war
with her new doggie-sister, Sachi. She feels
badly about the 5 puppy mill fluffs being
evicted before they ever have a chance to
discover the fun of toys and would like to
issue a $25 challenge for each fluff for
$125.
Thanks to all for
helping these homeless
babies,
Shelley, Sachi, Tia, and Benedict (the bunny)

Ok, those are our matching challenges.
If anyone can match
one of them, the
issuer
will make a donation
in that amount.
These little ones
need our help. They are
overwhelmed and in
shock, I think.
Imagine how you would
feel losing everything
and everyone you
knew and loved.
That's how they feel and it's too awful to
even contemplate.
All My Love, Robin

Hi Robin, Bonnie
and Team,
I have a couple prayer requests. Debbie Perrotti,
(with permission) a IL volunteer was diagnosed
with Leukemia. She has been doing chemotherapy
(oral medication). The prognosis is good
and we are hoping for remission. She is a
wonderful woman and great asset to SPR. She
is currently fostering Coco. The Perrotti's
fostered and adopted Dolly, who passed last
year. I spoke to her the other day and her
white count is better. Please keep her and
her family in your prayers.
Becky Rednour, another amazing woman and
volunteer is in the midst of flooding. She
is in Cairo, IL where they are evacuating
everyone. Becky is Sally's foster mommy and
adopted Sugarman last year. They are trying
to stay in their home and have moved everything
to the upper levels. If the levy breaks and
it floods they could loose everything.
I am also sending
this to them and
the team,
so if they need anything,
they know, all
they have to do is
email or call.
All my love to you
both (Becky/Jerry
and
Debbie/Jimmy!

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
