Welcome! We hope you enjoy reading about
the Bichons and the people who love them!
If you missed our last newsletter, here it is.
I'll have an updated newsletter for you all
tomorrow our newest vet bills, pictures and
updates on the Ohio Seven, (which ended up
being the Ohio Four, because three of the
sevens were Maltese and ended up going another
rescue group) as well as an update on our
precious little amputee, Shelby from GA.
While I was working on that newsletter, Donna
Brown, one of our Board Members sent the
following to me.
"Daisy needs some prayers from the prayer
warriors.
Sally Flynn's (mom2daisy@verizon.net) Daisy
is at the emergency vet's in critical condition.
A friend of hers came to her house to stay
for a few weeks brought her dogs and two
of them were sick. Whatever it was Daisy
has it and last I heard she is very critical."

She is is our "Bichon
Model" for
each of our online
auctions.
They told Sally tonight that Daisy has contracted
the Corona Virus.
She is one sick little
girl and she does
need our prayers.

When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
