Gem of the Day: "Finding Your Purpose in Life"
By Robin Pressnall
(Jack Canfield's
"Chicken Soup
for the
Soul" book series
is doing a story
call
out to it's previous
authors on the subject
of "Finding
Your Purpose in Life."
I'm thinking of submitting this story and
wanted you all to see it first. I wrote it
a few years ago and recently updated it a
bit. You can read it when you get a minute,
if you like. You're all in there! Robin)~
We need a foster
home for this darling very
bonded pair who is
currently in boarding
in Iowa.
We have been paying boarding for them for
over a month now and have GOT to find a foster
home for them.
We can fly them to
you if you can foster
them.
If you can help,
please contact Bonnie
at

Mabbi is a small girl, and is about 10 #'s.
With her fine straight hair, she resembles
a Maltese more than a Bichon. Mabbi (rhymes
with Gabby) is a quiet, reserved girl. She
is somewhat shy, but will happily sit in
your lap in the car. She is very dependant
on Chachi, her bonded mate. Mabbi is up to
date on all shots and has had her teeth cleaned
this year. She is 8 years old.
Chachi is 14 years old. He's extremely outgoing
and lovable. He is very protective over Mabbi
in that he stays by her side and is very
mothering to her. He acts more like a 5 or
6 year old guy. He's very active.
He is up to date on all shots and just had
a dental also.
Neither Mabbi or
Chachi are barkers
unless
there's a stranger.
They've been in boarding
for a month now,
and the vet clinic
staff
is amazed at how
sweet and quiet they
both
are.

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey",
I thought it was
truly the epitome
of what we do, and
why
we do it. I wanted
to use this black
and
white picture of
Humphrey, taken only
days
before his death
due to congestive
heart
failure, to let those
who may be new to
Small
Paws, know what we
do and why we do
it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey
would have never
known
love. He would have
died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because
of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived,
he loved, and he
smiled.
