We have the following matching donation challenge
for little Noel. Scroll down for her story
and pictures.
So from Terri Halligan, we have this challenge.
Can anyone meet her?

Hi Robin,
We've been fighting
the auto immune disease
Pemphigus in my Bichon,
Inya, for 2 1/2 years.
He looked very much
like Noel
does now. It took
3 vets and many dollars
to finally get a
diagnosis. Cyclosporine,
prednisone and many
medicated baths later
he
now looks like a
Bichon again. I'm
sure Noel
doesn't feel very
good at all. I'm
issuing
a $50 challenge to
any one that has
a fluff
with a
chronic illness so
we can get this girl
feeling
better.
Merry Christmas to
all, Terri Halligan>
OK! This will need to be LAST CALL as Bonnie
Ferguson and I are packing to get on a plane
very early in the morning, bound for NYC
and Fox News, and we need to get to bed,
early.
The Limo comes at
4:45 in the morning.
Yes, they send a Limo. It is very surreal.
Unbelievable, really.
From our humble beginnings, we have this
awesome opportunity, yet again.
I think that's all!
I love you all! Merry
Christmas! Robin
P.S. These are the stories from yesterday
abut Glitter and Noel.
Then, this morning
in Florida, our Florida
Team Leader, Vickie
Inglee, (vette99@tampabay.rr.com)
stopped what she
was doing, (which
was moving
from her old home
into a new one),
and rescued
this little girl,
who desperately needs
our
help.
I always try to tell you that we will pick
the most inopportune times to call you with
an emergency.
Not just everyone
can do this correctly.
It's an art we have
perfected over the years.
We plan it years
in advance.
We usually like to call you with an emergency
on Christmas Eve, when you have 32 people
in your home for dinner, and the flu.
Oh, and a nice ice storm always helps as
well.
Thank you Vickie for going after this little
one!
We have named her
"Noel" and she
needs your prayers.
Noel is five years old and came in as an
owner surrender from people who could no
longer afford her care. They also said they
were allergic to her hair falling out.
Noel hadn't been
to a vet in her entire
five
years until this
happened.
The suspected diagnosis of her illness, made
by the dermatologist this morning is CANINE PEMPHIGUS FOLIACEUS.

Noel's tummy is covered in pus filled sores.

Noel's ear flap is covered in crusty sores.

Noel's back.

Noel's hair is falling out in clumps, into
her sweater. She truly does need out emergency
care.
We spent $476.00 on her, just at the Dermatologist
today.
Now, she is at Vickie's vet awaiting the
biopsy results of these sores.
She also needs medication, a dental, quarantine,
and vaccinations.
The estimate for everything she will need
is for between $1000.00-1200.00.
The suspected cause of her illness, made
by the dermatologist this morning is CANINE PEMPHIGUS FOLIACEUS.
Then, in Northern
Texas, under the direction
of our Team Leader,
Susie Perez, susanna.perez@gmail.com,
we have this precious
girl.
We've named her "Glitter" for Christmas,
because after we get done with her she is
going to SPARKLE!! She is around 9 years
old and was rescued from a shelter.

off of her!
