OH MY LORD GOD HAVE MERCY! Lauri Caron, from the OCTAGON WILDLIFE SANCTUARY AND REHABILITATION
CENTER, just darted ANNIE!! She shot the dart and
it did go into Annie's butt around 15 minutes
ago!
To me, this in itself is a miracle, that
they found her again and were able to get
a good clean shot!
Now, they have a search party out there to
try to find her after she ran after being
darted. She will be slowing down soon! The
drug they used is a very safe drug that probably
won't knock her out all the way but will
slow her down so that can catch her little
white butt!
If she ran into the Bird Sanctuary, Lauri
has permission to go in there from the Fish
and Wildlife people, which is another miracle,
as these folks usually do not assist on domestic
animal rescues, only on wildlife issues!
Before this, we would not have been allowed
to go in there after darting her! This was
one of our concerns!
Lauri is armed with a pistol also, and in
case anything were to put her life in danger.
I made her promise me too that she would
not risk her life over this!
It is coming together now. 23 days on the
run. Pray people pray. As soon as we have
her I will let you know.

She told me she was going to dart her and
she did it! She did it!
