![]() Number 41 ![]() 7 week old Buttercup has a grade six heart murmur. She weighs only 2 pounds and is too small to be coiled at Texas A&M. They can do the crack the chest open surgery (ligation) on her. It would be nice to try to grow her just a little bit first, but we don't know how long she can wait. We also have to raise funds for her in full, before we can send her into a $2700.00 surgery. This will be our 41st Heart Murmur patient. We have done this life saving surgery many times before. The Heart Murmur Reunion Page When we lost MIKEY in New York, after attempting the coil technique there, I promised myself that with all other heart murmur Bichons, I would just fly them down to Texas A&M where we have had success after success. (Two of our Heart Murmur Babies were taken to Texas A&M and were not candidates for the surgery. They were Chevy and June.) This is a difficult time of year for rescue groups. The need is up while funds are down. Our balance as of today is only $1048.18. We have many Bichons needing surgeries and treatments and medical tests, and yet, this baby has found her way into our arms. Can you turn on your heart light once more for Baby Buttercup? Her surgery will run right at $2500.00 in order to save her life. This is how to use your major credit card.
