Number 39 "Baby"
"Baby" is a three year old female,
who was an owner surrender.
Baby's heart has been under tremendous pressure now for three years. It is of course very enlarged. Without this surgery, Baby will go into congestive heart failure and die, probably before age 4-5. As you can see, we are in a race against the clock here.
Baby is part of a bonded pair. Her sidekick, 6 year old Missy, will await Baby's return to our Small Paws foster home, with Sharon and Stu Midgol, near Kansas City.

When we lost MIKEY in New York, after attempting the coil technique there, I promised myself that with all other heart murmur Bichons, I would just fly them down to Texas A&M where we have had success after success.
(Two of our Heart Murmur Babies were taken to Texas A&M and were not candidates for the surgery. They were Chevy and June.)
