Welcome to the newest members of our online mailing list, especially if you have seen us featured in one of our recently updated media articles , read about us in the best selling book "Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul", or if you saw Small Paws on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams!

Baby Carrie Small Paws.

We just received word that we have our 40th Heart Murmur Puppy.

She is a little six month old baby girl, and she is now down in Atlanta, Ga.

Our first request for airline assistance has been lovingly provided by Stephanie Hunter, who is going to use a free airline ticket that she has, to fly Baby Carrie down to Houston, Tx. early in the morning.

Patty Shearer will meet her there in Houston, and then take Carrie on down to A&M.

Now, we have to find a way to pay for this surgery. We have never let a heart murmur baby down yet, and I know that you want for us to do these surgeries to save these precious little lives.

There may be several of you who can send a little...there may be some of you who can send more...there may be one or two of you who can send even more.

I know there are some of you who can't send anything monetarily, but oh oh...don't you dare think you aren't important and needed!

I'm personally asking those of you who cant help financially, to please be our prayer partners for Baby Carrie...for her health, for Steph's safety traveling tomorrow, and for funds to come in to pay for this live saving surgery! Will you do that for me?!

Somewhere, out there, there is someone, waiting to have their broken heart healed by this little miracle.

If you think about it, it's a miracle that her breeder was closed down. A miracle that the all breed rescue took her to the vet and found out about the heart murmur, and then found us. A miracle that we found free transportation for her on the plane. She is indeed a little miracle.

Now we only need to raise the funds to save her life. I know it's summer...it's a weekend, and it's August. Carrie may not have great timing, but God does, and it is now that He has sent her into our waiting arms....there must be a reason.

This week, we brought our balance up from -$2000.00 to a positive $2000.00, and we have way over that in bills to pay this Monday night.

It seems like we have so many fluff emergencies right now; so many precious little ones needing expensive vet care before they can find their forever homes. I’d like to help by offering some very special quilts for some very special bichons! Check out the new samples!





Personalized birthday quilts are here, and Bailey was MORE than glad to model for the center square. These quilts feature “Happy Birthday” fabric, multi-colored bones, a plaid, and even a doggie print with leashes, toys, and bowls. Very colorful and totally unique for that special dog of yours. They measure 32” square and are made of 100% cotton fabrics. Please note: photo transfers to fabric are not as “rugged” as regular rag quilt squares. Although they are washable, wash with care in cold water, and only when necessary. The photos may fade with repeated washings. Think what a wonderful wall hanging these would be, or as a table topper.

I’m also offering a birthday quilt with our favorite fluff puppy head in the center. Here it is:
