A Gift for Small Paws®
(Puppy Afghan Pattern & Instructions)
Today, we recieved a beautiful gift in the
mail. TWO wonderful gifts, actually! Handmade
gifts, made by Lauri,(RAGS VII@aol.com),
mom to Raggs, the Wonderdog,( an extra special
Bichon.)
Lauri loves Bichons so very much,
and has
been so touched by all of the
rescue stories,
thats she has hand-crocheted
these BEAUTIFUL
Puppy Afghans!! She wants them
to be sent
with the special needs Bichons,
that we rescue,
and ship to their new forever
homes.
She told me on the phone today,
that if we
ever need some extra Puppy Afghans,
for a
special occasion, a fundraiser,
or a special
rescue shipment of babies, that
she will
put a RUSH on making them! I
am so overwhelmed,
I can't believe it. These are
just stunningly
beautiful! They each have beautiful
stitching,
and precious little Bichon faces
on the squares!
They come in different colors
too! I told
her, "We can't put these
beautiful works
of art in the crates with these
babies..they
might barf on them!(or WORSE..lol.)"..She
told me,"They are 100% machine
washable!"
She already has two more made,
and ready
to ship! I offered to pay for
the shipping
at least, and she would hear
nothing of it!
She told me, "This is what
I can do..and
so I want to do it for the babies."
Susan and I are so blessed, to
be involved
in a rescue group, with so many
wonderful,
wonderful people. We want to
share these
precious gifts with all of you
now.
