~Adopted Vet Bill of Flaminco Frannie~

Hi Robin and Bonnie

I just called in my card info to Christine for Flaminco Frannie. She is in the middle of printing cards, so it may take a few hours to post, but the donation is $1087.00. If you want an "honorarium" - to SmallPaws for their commitment to ALL of the Fluffs out there, and especially for going the extra mile with Cory and Alex. They have brought joy to my life

Patty

Robin,

I am virtually adopting "Abalene Annie". From the what I saw I calculated her bill to be $138.05 (10/07/03). Now Annie will have no burdens and can live life (I guess the amount would go toward the general fund.) Donating by adopting a fluff's "bill" makes me feel more involved. So, I will be performing a cc transaction of $150 soon.

I do challenge the SPR family to look around their desk, purse, counters for any loose $ change. If everyone donated just the spare $ change they find lying around no matter how little it is--it would make a huge impact on whether or not we get to get these babies out.

Hi Robin,

I will pay the vet bill in the amount of $548.94 for Aunt Eller, for her tumor to be taken out and the cost of the biopsy.

I love when I awake in the morning before they do and I watch them all asleep and living the life that they were meant to. I know I will never be able to capture that picture, but it will be in my mind always.

Hugs,
Cathy

Patty Harrington's "brain child" is a great "brain child". If no one has stepped up for Rhinestone Rodney, I will adopt that bill and it looks like 117.50. Just confirm and I will mail a check to you over the weekend.
Love,
Phyllis

Hi Robin,

"Adopt a Vet Bill" is a wonderful idea! I'm adopting the vet bill for my latest foster pup, Little Guy". He needed major dental work, however my vet discounted the surgery to $160.

Here is a photo of Little Guy with his new blankie from the SPR Auction.

I hope lots of people will Adopt a Vet Bill. Take care, --Joy

I'd like to adopt a vet bill for Angel its for the frontline $29.92 dated 3/27/04 and also Polara Pearly dated 3/23 for vaccines $18.00, Total $47.92 I will pay by credit card on the site.

It touched my heart when I heard the music playing on the adopt a vet bill site. It was angels among us by Alabama. I played that song at my mothers funeral in 98. Also as you may or may not know Alabama is on their farewell tour this year and Randy Owen their lead singer has been very sick with inner ear problems and had to cancel many concerts but now he is back on the road altho still not the same. So I am also doing this in his honor.

I was walking home from school,
on a cold winter day.
Took a short cut through the woods,
and I lost my way.
It was gettin' late,
and I was scared and alone.
Then a kind old man
took my hand and led me home.
Mama couldn't see him,
but he was standin' there.
I knew in my heart
he was the answer to my prayers.

(chorus : )
Ohhhh, I believe there are angels among us
Sent down to us from some where up above
They come to you and me in our darkest hours
To show us how to live,
To teach us how to give

To guide us with a light of love.

When life held troubled times
and had me down on my knees.
There's always been someone
to come along and comfort me.
A kind word from a stranger
to lend a helping hand.
A phone call from a friend
just to say, "I understand".

Ain't it kinda funny
at the dark end of the road
someone lights the way with just
a single ray of hope.

(chorus : )
Ohhhh, I believe there are angels among us
sent down to us from some where up above.
They come to you and me in our darkest hours
to show us how to live,
to teach us how to give,

To guide us with a light of love.

(bridge : )
They wear so many faces,
Show up in the strangest places,
Grace us with their mercy
In our time of need

(chorus : )
Ohhhh, I believe there are angels among us
sent down to us from some where up above.
They come to you and me in our darkest hours
to show us how to live,
to teach us how to give,

To guide us with a light of love.

To guide us with a light of love.
