Brothers are adopted by Sisters!

"Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister,
And Lord help the sister that comes between me and my man!"

Sisters, Delores and Shirley, adopt look-a-like Puppy Mill rescue Bichons, Cliffy (Now named Nickey) and Sam Malone (now called "Sam") from this rescue...
Small Paws® Rescue: Cheers!

Some bichons look alike...but these were identical, I tell you! Somehow, these sisters each picked one and can tell them apart!:)

This is why we do what we do. A picture is worth a thousand words.:) Shirley is on the left, in blue. Delores is on the right. The Bichons are in the middle in white.:)

"It's a family affairrrrrrr...." I would have liked to have been the photographer that day! What fun!

At the airport.....Shirley meets Sam...

Delores calls this picture of her first meeting with Nickey at the airport.."Love at first site"....

The sisters, with the brothers, and Delores' five year old Bichon, "Frizzy" (in front)

The Lyrics to "Sisters, Sisters," From the Movie: White Christmas

Sisters, sisters,
There were never such devoted sisters.
Never had to have a chaperone, no sir,
I'm there to keep my eye on her.

Caring, sharing
Every little thing that we are wearing.
When a certain gentleman arrived from Rome
She wore the dress and I stayed home.

All kinds of weather, we stick together
The same in the rain or sun.
Two different faces but in tight places
We think and we act as one. Uh-huh.

Those who've seen us,
Know that not a thing could come between us.
Many men have tried to split us up but no one can.
Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister,
And Lord help the sister that comes between me and my man.

A big thank you to both of these sisters, for adopting these identical brothers, who will now be loved family members...and hopefully, those memories of being raised on a dog farm,(yes, that's what the millers themselves call it) will fade quickly away!
