Yesterday was a GREAT DAY in rescue! We took in SEVEN female Bichons from a puppy mill in Mo. We got the call late on Tuesday night that they wanted to just turn them over to us! I drove to Mo. yesterday and picked them all up. YES!:)

They are all seven years old...Seven, seven year old females! (Mill life is always harder on the little females than on the males. I can not remember ever getting in seven females all at once like this!)
We are still trying to get her to let loose of one last Bichon she has....it is a puppy, and we are praying she will turn this one over to us as well.

The good news is that these seven girls are happy for the most part. This one is named "Halle" for the current best actress acadamy award winner!

I named this one "Savannah"...I don't know why...:)

Meet "Kate"...
Kate hates all other dogs and must be an only dog, as her partially missing left ear denotes. They said it was from a dog fight, poor baby girl. :(

The others are all in pretty good spirits. Three are sisters...hmmm....do you see a theme developing here?

"Billie Jo"

"Betty Jo"

"Bobbie Jo"

Lastly, meet "Petticoat"!

They all are in horrible shape coat and teeth wise. I know each one will have to be shaved buck nekid. What a lucky day for these girls!

Come ride that little train that is rolling down the tracks to the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!
Forget about your cares, it is time to relax at the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!
Lots of curves, you bet, even more when you get to the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!

Well, there's a little hotel called the Shady Rest at the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!
It is run by Kate, come and be her guest at the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!
And you'll meet Uncle Joe, he's a-movin' kinda slow at the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!

When they hear the dinner bell from the Shady Rest Hotel at the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!
Folks will walk a country mile for that chicken country-style at the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!
But the dishes to observe are those pretty gals who serve at the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!

Well, we'll soon be leavin' town
There's old Charley oilin' round
Can she make it up the hill
At least to Hooterville
The pressure's on the rise
Floyd is burning railroad ties
Everybody get inside
Doesn't cost a cent to ride
Come one and come all and we'll take that Cannonball to the Junction,
Petticoat Junction!
