Dear Small Pawsers,
Our Small Paws Rescue Blanketeers worked
very hard on The 2012 Small Paws Rescue Quilt!
We have so far sold only 288 Tickets to win
it.
Earlier I mistakenly
told you that we usually
sell 500 tickets.
That was incorrect! We
normally sell 1500
tickets!
The Blanketeer's Quilt is something that
normally raises $7500.00 for Small Paws.
These ladies give
up an entire weekend to
do nothing but make
the quilt.
Their husbands cook
for them, so they
can
work nonstop.
Let's show them some
support, while helping
the Bichons in need!
Three of the Blanketeers will be at the Oklahoma
Bash to present this beautiful quilt. You
do not need to be present to win!
This is an exquisite queen sized quilt made
of beautiful 1930's reproduction fabrics
in pastel shades to fit any decor!
Tickets for the raffle
are $5.00 each and
the drawing takes
place at the Small Paws Rescue Okie Bash in Tulsa, OK.THIS
WEEKEND, Oct. 27, 2012!
You do not need to

Humphrey Sisco

When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey", I thought
it was truly the epitome of what we do, and
why we do it. I wanted to use this black
and white picture of Humphrey, taken only
days before his death due to congestive heart
failure, to let those who may be new to Small
Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known
love. He would have died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
(All recipients of the Small Paws Rescue
newsletter receive it voluntarily. Small
Paws never gleans e-mail addresses from other
e-mail lists. Small Paws never solicits e-mail
addresses or shares them with other "lists"
or organizations.)
