Good morning Robin!
What an exciting
phone call telling
me that
I had won that beautiful
quilt that so many
ladies had worked
on to help support
those
beautiful little
Bichon Fluffers who
need
help. A special thanks
to each of these
ladies
and may God bless
them for each stitch
they
placed on the quilt
and for all they
do to
help out these precious
little ones who need
help.
Again, thanks, so
very much and God
love
and bless you for
the guidance you
give to
Small Paws.

And, we have a report on little Watson, who
has a mangled back
leg.
He is presently at
the Snowflake Pet Center Hospital in Milford
CT.

Watson has a torn tendon. The Board Certified
Surgeon believes he will heal on his own
with cage rest! He is too malnourished even
to be neutered yet, but he IS going to foster
care to be fattened up and become healthy
again!
We will keep you
updated on our little
Watson!
Lastly, we want to share with you the wonderful
time we had at the
recent 2012 Small
Paws
Rescue Okie Bash,
held in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
last weekend!
Please enjoy the sights and sounds of the
five events that were held!
The 2012 Small Paws
Rescue Okie Bash Pictures
and Slide Shows!
(Thanks to technical support from Louie Bertolino,
no added software is needed to view the slide
shows on either your computers or your smart
phones! Enjoy!)
Included is a special
award and slide show
for one of our Team
Leaders, Sara Pace who
has rescued over
200 Bichons in the Chicago
area in the past
year!
It was a beautiful weekend, even if it was
a little chilly. (The forecast for THIS weekend,
is supposed to be 86 degrees! Of course it
is! Ha!)
Stay safe everyone!
To everyone without
power, we are praying
the lights are back
on soon!
All My Love, Robin

Humphrey Sisco
Dec 26, 1993~ Aug 30, 2006
When I first saw this beautiful picture of
Cheri Sisco's "Humphrey", I thought
it was truly the epitome of what we do, and
why we do it. I wanted to use this black
and white picture of Humphrey, taken only
days before his death due to congestive heart
failure, to let those who may be new to Small
Paws, know what we do and why we do it. Without
Small Paws, Humphrey would have never known
love. He would have died in a kill shelter,
sick and alone. Because of Small Paws, and
Cheri Sisco, he lived, he loved, and he smiled.
