Contribute your original art or photos to help Small Paws Rescue!

The graphics offered here are to attract traffic and attention to the Small Paws Rescue organization, and you can help.

I am looking for pictures of dogs for the pure bred section.  I am not an artist. I like to play around on the computer, and I need  pictures to work from.  It is important that I use pictures of dogs who are excellent representatives of their breed conformation, so I ask that you only contribute pictures of show dogs.  Pictures of stacked dogs are great to work with, as are other basic portrait poses.  Full body shots are good too in most any position. Dogs standing or sitting in grass doesn't work so well, since the graphics do need paws.

I try to keep the graphics fairly "generic", and so your dog's graphics may not be that recognizable as your particular dog.  But, you will probably still recognize him or her.  The only drawback I can forsee is that your dog may appear on various dog related sites all over the internet, and that might be uncomfortable for you.  I do reserve the right to use or not use what I want to of pictures submitted - if I do not use your pictures or only some and then some from other people, it's nothing personal, it could be just that the light isn't quite right or the angle of the head isn't quite right, or something like that.  I do try to do graphics that I like, and what I think other people may like.  I also experiment a lot too and   I use mostly Photoshop 5.5, and have recently gotten Painter Classic.  Since this is a part time volunteer thing, I don't work on it all the time.

Please consider contributing your dog's photos for a good cause.  I will credit you and your dog for the original picture if you wish (or not if you don't wish), and include a link to your site.  Please email me, and send the url to your pictures if they are on the 'net.  Please do not send picture files in email at first.

If you have original graphics of your own you would like to contribute, please email me.

Any other ideas are welcome too. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Leilah's Mom
